TOLEDO - Peace, love, truth and righteousness. These are some of the ideals sought by the Education in Human Values, a practice that is becoming more popular in schools and universities. The methodology was presented during these past three days, the teachers of the College Incomar.
Since Monday they attend the Training Seminar on Human Values delivered by Gonçalo Vicente de Medeiros, president of the Institute of Sathya Sai Education responsible for the dissemination of the method by Brazil. "Education in Human Values teaches man to fill your heart with compassion, speak the truth and dedicate his body to the good of society," said the president Medeiros.
To achieve its objectives, methodology works five techniques: sit in silence - for the understanding of peace; chants and songs - for understanding of love; stories with good examples - so the child starts working the unconscious; plus quotes and gaming groups.
"Teachers who participate, learn and practice meditation techniques do not develop literacy but universal love and forgiveness," Medeiros guarantees. According to him, teachers leave transformed and magnified into a multiplier instrument, capable of beaming what they learned. The program's goal is to show that peace is also learned in school.
begin
In 1968, in India, Sri Sathya Sai Baba educator noted that the Indian education system formed many doctors, but did not prepare them to serve the community, neither shall attain to the fullness of peace.
He noted that academic qualifications became empty without the preparation of spirit for life. Thus, to meet this need was born the first school where the subjects were permeated by the universal values of man, called by Sathya Sai Baba for Human Values. Among these are included the worldwide multiplication of love.
From this experience schools were scattered to diffuse this new method of teaching throughout the world. These schools ranging from primary school to doctorate, and in them the teacher is guaranteed to make examples of excellence in human values. This method came to be called Sathya Sai Education Program in Human Values (ESSVH).

Since its inception to the present day, the Sathya Sai Education Program in Human Values has been thoroughly tested in more than 130 countries, affecting individuals of all faiths, always achieving success than expected.
